This is one of a series of distance learning workbooks developed by content team online for Protocol Training. The workbook was designed to be used by people who were taking an NVQ qualification in bookkeeping.

We provided the page design, researched and wrote the content and provided all the illustrations. The books were produced in association with Wordhouse Ltd.

Commissioned by Macmillan Open Learning, this workbook provides an introduction to research skills for nurses. It was designed as one of an innovative series of open learning books in which a straightforward factual narrative was complemented by non-linear prompts and stimuli.

This was one of two books written by Cathy Lake for the Open College for their Working with children series. This book discusses ways of managing difficult behaviour, while the other title covers strategies for playing with children.
